William Cullen Bryant letters, 1843-1848.

The collection consists of two letters: to John Frost, of Godey's lady's book, 17 Nov. 1843, offering for publication a poem, Stanzas from Goethe, written out on the integral leaf; also, to Bayard Taylor, 10 Apr. 1848, serving to introduce an Italian acquaintance, Mr. di Casali, and asking Taylor to show him around.
